Job Summary

Lead sales and service growth for Coats by implementing corporate strategies, reviewing revenue and profitability metrics, and driving root cause analysis on complex challenges. Manage field service operations by inspecting crews, evaluating technician performance, and ensuring full training capabilities. Conduct face-to-face sales calls at end users, deliver product presentations, and resolve customer issues at the store level to gain cooperation. Optimize channel strategies through existing and new distribution partners while monitoring market and competitor activity. Handle administrative functions for sales and service, manage profit and loss statements, and collaborate with the internal product team on customer needs. Travel up to 80% of the time across Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico, including overnight stays, to visit end users and support distributors. Attend national and regional shows as required.

Required Qualifications

Currently reside in Utah, Colorado, or New Mexico
Residence within 75 miles of a major airport hub in Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT is preferred
Must be available for frequent regional travel
Must be available for overnight stays
Travels up to 80% of their time in assigned region
Must attend monthly/quarterly/annual national and regional shows and marketing conferences as required by the company
Must possess the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret oral and written technical instructions and other related publications
Must possess strong organizational and communication skills
Strong computer skills and ability to effectively use company software required

Excellent driving record and ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years' experience managing people in a related field
1 to 2 years' experience managing in a shop or field environment, planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities to satisfy customer needs on a timely basis

Strong computer skills and ability to effectively use company software required
