Job Summary
Director of QCommerce in Romania with full P&L ownership and end-to-end business leadership. You will define and own the QCommerce strategy for Romania, translate strategy into tangible results across commercial, operational, and marketing initiatives, lead a high-performing team, foster talent development, and strengthen retailer and supplier partnerships. You will collaborate with HQ, Marketing, Product, and Finance to align priorities, drive top-line growth, optimize margins, and deliver best-in-class availability. The role requires deep commercial acumen, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to scale a growth engine while balancing speed, quality, and profitability. Fluency in English and Romanian is required, and the position emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and execution across multiple retail verticals in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments (startups, scale-ups, consulting, investment banking, private equity) with operational or commercial leadership roles
- Proven track record of owning and scaling a P&L — driving revenue growth, profitability, and sustainable business models
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable decisions
- Deep commercial acumen — skilled in negotiation, category management, and partnership development with retailers, suppliers, and brands
- Experience leading high-performing teams with ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent in dynamic environments
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills — aligning senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- Bias for action and entrepreneurial spirit — thrives in ambiguity and moves fast
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, translating complex ideas into clear narratives for internal and external audiences
- Fluency in English and Romanian required
