Job Summary
Commercial Director (Exeter City Women’s Football) will provide strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to support the sustainable growth and success of the women’s team, working with board members, club executives, and stakeholders to develop long-term strategy, financial sustainability, commercial growth, community engagement, and sporting performance. Requires senior-level experience in commercial management, business development, sales, marketing, sponsorship, partnerships or revenue generation, a track record of developing commercial relationships, and ability to contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth. Roles are voluntary/non-remunerated with an approximate commitment of two days per month, and applicants must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK; DBS checks will be required. Closing date: 28th June 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in commercial management, business development, sales, marketing, sponsorship, partnerships or revenue generation
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining successful commercial relationships
- Experience contributing to strategic planning and organizational growth
- Understanding of financial sustainability and commercial performance metrics
- Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including businesses, community organisations and partners
