Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial properties, including panel upgrades, new construction wiring, and service entrance work. Perform load calculations, grounding, bonding, and lighting control system installations while ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code. Troubleshoot faulty circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring issues, maintaining a safe work environment. Manage your own flexible schedule as an independent contractor with weekly pay and travel expense coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Necessary tools for comprehensive electrical work
- Proven experience and proper certifications as a licensed electrician

- Ability to manage own schedule to fit lifestyle
- Ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for both homes and businesses
- Ability to install and upgrade electrical panels to meet current code requirements and boost power capacity
- Ability to perform precise load calculations to ensure electrical systems are properly designed and meet all capacity needs
- Ability to install or repair electrical service entrances, including main disconnects and meter bases
- Ability to wire new homes, buildings, and large commercial projects to code
- Ability to perform grounding and bonding of electrical systems to prevent electrical shock hazards
- Ability to expertly troubleshoot and repair faulty circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring issues
- Ability to install, repair, and maintain lighting control systems (e.g., dimmers, occupancy sensors)
- Ability to install and maintain electrical distribution systems, including transformers and distribution boards
- Ability to conduct thorough electrical inspections and ensure all work rigorously complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
