Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems while conducting routine facility inspections to identify issues. Respond to work orders, prioritize tasks based on urgency, and fabricate or repair equipment as needed. Supervise external contractors for specialized projects and provide customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving maintenance issues promptly. Requires EPA certification, valid driver's license, own tools, and vehicle. Flexible schedule with pay from $25 to $50 per hour. Opportunity to transition to full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in HVAC, Appliance repair work
- Own tools and reliable vehicle (truck, van, or SUV)
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently
- MUST be located in the US
- Technicians who want routine maintenance work, not full-time employment
- Tradespeople who are self-motivated, communicative, and ready to handle straightforward tasks across rotating properties
- Appliance Repair (Microwave, Dishwasher, Store)
- EPA Certification for HVAC techs (mandatory under new refrigerant regulations)
- Must complete brief onboarding with vendor representative before receiving work
- Strong professionalism, punctuality, and communication skills
- Need to have necessary job tools
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Desired Qualifications
