Job Summary
Commercial Credit Specialist at Florence Bank supports the Commercial Credit Department through routine tasks and special projects, including tracking and processing commercial appraisals, maintaining financial statement tracking, monitoring loan covenants and annual reviews, generating covenant letters, handling servicing documents, reviewing invoices and credit reports, and supporting the Commercial Lending Department. The role requires familiarity with loan documentation, financial statement analysis, and related software (LoanVantage, Identifi, Insight, Microsoft Office), along with strong attention to detail and effective communication. The position is based at the Main Office in Florence, MA with a hybrid option after 6 months, and offers competitive pay, benefits, PTO, and a 401K plan.”,
Required Qualifications
- The following skills, experience, or background are necessary (with or without accommodation) for this position.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work-related experience in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Knowledge of basic accounting strongly preferred.
- Accuracy and attention-to-detail are critical to this role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A minimum of one-year of commercial banking experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple projects at one time, and complete accurate work within established deadlines.
- Strong PC knowledge.
- Knowledge of LoanVantage operating system is a plus.
