Job Summary
Maintain SouthernCarlson's lien rights by monitoring Prelim software, reviewing status and dates of Preliminary notices, and analyzing waivers to ensure protection. Lead a team of construction specialists by supervising job specialists and providing guidance while safeguarding company revenue through minimizing bad debts. Oversee collection activities by monitoring accounts receivable and initiating collection proceedings when needed to enforce lien rights. Maintain favorable customer relations by providing high-level service to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Previous commercial job experience
- Knowledge of lien laws
- Previous experience in construction industry
- 5 years + of Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of lien laws
- Basic understanding of finance policies
- Strong analytical abilities
- Very high attention to detail
- Ability to resolve disputes
- Ability to make strategic credit decisions
- Strong computer skills using Excel and other Microsoft software
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Willingness to travel when needed
