Job Summary
Lead, develop, and manage a team of Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, and interns; oversee commercial underwriting and credit analysis processes; ensure adherence to credit policy, risk management standards, and regulatory expectations; support recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts for analysts and interns; partner with leadership to identify and develop future talent across the organization; review complex commercial credit relationships and underwriting presentations; help maintain loan quality and compliance standards; collaborate across lending, treasury, and credit functions to support long-term growth; exposure to complex commercial and industrial (C&I) lending relationships; visible role with interaction across multiple commercial banking teams and leadership groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 7–10+ years of progressive commercial banking experience with formal credit training
- Prior experience in Senior Credit Analyst, Portfolio Management, or Credit leadership roles
- Strong commercial underwriting and financial analysis background, particularly within C&I lending
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior credit professionals
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
