Job Summary
Underwrites and analyzes commercial credit requests and modifications from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan, collaborating withrelationship managers to maintain accurate risk ratings. Analyzes financial statements, tax returns, due diligence, and other materials; develops independent credit quality assessments with risk descriptions, industry and market trends, and mitigants. Produces cash flow analyses, covenant sensitivity calculations, and collateral schedules; prepares financial models and guarantor analysis. Presents findings to credit discussions/committees, recommends risk ratings, and ensures adherence to the Commercial Credit Policy and regulatory standards. Works with senior team members on complex transactions and ongoing credit monitoring across loan portfolios. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in commercial credit or an equivalent combination of education and experience; strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in financial modeling and MS Office; familiarity with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Bloomberg is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- At least 4 years’ experience in commercial credit, public accounting, and financial statement analysis OR combined minimum 8 years' higher education and work experience with 4 years in commercial credit
