Commercial Credit Analyst

Commercial Credit Analyst at M&T Bank supports underwriting and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of commercial credits. Responsible for performing supporting analysis, analyzing financial statements, preparing cash flow and projection models, and delivering independent credit quality assessments with risk ratings. Partners with relationship managers throughout the credit process from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan, including client/prospect calls and covenant monitoring. Duties include reviewing financial information from various sources, identifying credit risks and mitigants, making structure recommendations, ensuring compliance with credit policy, and contributing to overall risk management and portfolio monitoring.
