Job Summary
Facilitate credit needs by analyzing new requests and material modifications from deal screen through approval, recommending conditions, and assessing creditworthiness. Manage ongoing credit risk through continuous monitoring activities including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, and problem loan management to identify emerging risks and assign accurate ratings. Review financial statements, tax returns, and due diligence reports to complete credit analyses, prepare cash flow models, and present findings during committee discussions. Partner with relationship managers to attend client calls, verify policy compliance, and enter accurate data into Bank systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum of one year's work experience in commercial credit, public accounting, financial statement preparation/analysis or other financial analysis
- In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years' higher education and/or work experience, including of one year work experience in commercial credit, public accounting, financial statement preparation/analysis or other financial analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Bloomberg
