Job Summary
Commercial Credit Advisor and Adjudication role supporting Relationship Managers in credit renewals and adjudication of files under delegated lending authorities. Responsibilities include reviewing borrower risk ratings, structuring transactions to mitigate risk, preparing due diligence for renewals, identifying risk issues, maintaining KYC standards, and building strong partnerships with RMs, Group Risk Management, and the Service Centre to improve processing times and client care. Requires experience in commercial banking/credit, knowledge of credit tools, financial statement analysis, and effective communication; bilingual (French and English) is a plus. Education in Finance/Commerce/Management or accounting-related field is required; CFA/MBA are nice-to-have. Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must-have: Commercial Banking experience
- Knowledge of commercial financial services credit tools (Newton & Synergy)
- Strong Business Acumen
- Financial statement analysis skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Management or an accounting related field
