Job Summary
Commercial Counsel for Motorola Solutions’ Supply Chain team focusing on a broad range of procurement and technology-related agreements, including software, cloud services, licensing, and real estate. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and mitigating risk in vendor contracts; advising internal clients on contract terms, privacy, cybersecurity, IP, and regulatory matters; developing negotiation strategies; leading cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, finance, implementation, and sales; maintaining contract playbooks and templates; supporting cost-benefit analyses and business initiatives while ensuring compliance. Requires JD, 8+ years in corporate/transactional law, state bar admission, and in-house experience preferred; travel under 25%; remote-work option with occasional office visits; base salary $125k-$130k.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor Degree
- 8+ years of commercial counsel experience
- Admission to the Bar in at least one state
- In-house legal experience preferred
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating procurement agreements including product, software, cloud-services, service, and real estate agreements
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex risk and compliance matters
