Job Summary

Commercial Counsel responsible for the full lifecycle of commercial contracts with enterprise and mid-market customers, including redlining, negotiating, and closing agreements. Serve as the primary legal support for the sales team to move deals forward quickly, and help build out legal operations infrastructure such as contract management tooling, templates, playbooks, and processes. Collaborate with the Head of Legal and grow into a generalist legal role over time. Requires JD and active bar admission; 2+ years of commercial contract experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills. Hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the NYC office; candidates should be based within commuting distance. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and e-signature platforms is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial contract work, either in-house or as outside counsel supporting B2B SaaS clients with commercial overflow
  • Strong redlining and negotiating skills
  • J.D. required; active bar admission required
