Job Summary
What a Service Technician Lead is responsible for in a Bay Area role focused on commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems: diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen equipment; adhering to safety policies and PPE; using a variety of tools and knowledge of electrical principles; communicating professionally with customers and colleagues about repairs and status; navigating service software and communications channels to ensure quality service. Regular travel to customer sites is required, with extensive daily travel and exposure to high-heat environments; standard physical requirements include lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance; background check and drug screen required; valid driver’s license required. Preferred qualifications include CFESA certification, EPA Universal Certification, and computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- MUST HAVE 1-2 years of experience in repairing commercial gas, electrical, steam, and/or refrigeration equipment
- Strong electrical, electronic, mechanical skills
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Ability to work hard, be punctual, and stay organized
- Preferred: CFESA certification, EPA Universal Certification, and computer literacy
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required
- Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with safety standards
- Must be at least 18 years of age
