Job Summary
Lead Equipment and Service sales-related commercial controllership initiatives in Korea, advising Commercial Leadership on deal structures and mitigating financial and reporting risks. Partner with Legal and Controllership to oversee revenue recognition, establish internal controls, and drive process improvements. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards, develop SOPs for financial closing and reporting, and provide proactive financial analysis to support business growth. Requires 7+ years of multinational accounting/finance experience, Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, and strong English/Korean communications; adept at cross-functional collaboration and independent problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields
- 7+ years accounting or finance experience in multinational business
- Experience with U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, FASB pronouncements
- Ability to communicate complex accounting information clearly (Korea and English)
- Experience with financial systems/applications (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, SFDC)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLookup, Macros)
- Integrity and high moral/ethical standards
- Ability to lead projects/process improvements with cross-functional teams
- Experience in healthcare or industrial sectors valued
- Ability to work across multiple levels including executive level
