Job Summary
Support contract and commercial management across assigned projects, including prime contract reviews, subcontract preparation, and effective change management to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and risk mitigation. Coordinate subtrade buyouts by managing RFP processes, evaluating bids, and drafting subcontract documentation aligned with budget forecasts. Assist with GMP presentations, conduct cash flow reviews, and track revenue projections, cost control, and profit and loss data to maintain strong commercial performance. Manage change orders, develop contractual claims, and ensure entitlements are maintained through proactive documentation and adherence to notice periods. Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to build relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports projects with annual revenues under $25M, requiring a Commercial Contract Specialist with 7+ years of construction experience and a background in contract administration.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- 7+ years of construction experience
- 4+ years in commercial, contract administration or project management roles on projects up to $25M in value on a variety of contract models
- Experience in Construction Management forms of contract
