Job Summary
Maintain the responsible construction schedule and budget while ensuring a safe jobsite for all employees and subcontractors. Represent the company in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors, communicating site requirements to the office and project manager to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule. Coordinate with owner/client vendors as needed and complete daily tasks using various computer software tools. This Full-Time, 1st Shift position reports to the Field Operations Director. Candidates must possess 5 years of commercial construction experience, strong managerial skills, and the ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, customers, and architects
- Strong managerial skills
- Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry
- Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software
- Must be able to work in the U.S.
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Team player
- Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs
- Must be able to climb and work from heights
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
- Will be required to work around wood dust and fumes
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent is strongly desired
