Job Summary
Maintain responsible construction schedules and budgets while coordinating with healthcare facilities on documentation such as work permits and infection control risk assessments. Supervise on-site building activities to ensure a safe jobsite for all employees and subcontractors, representing the company in meetings with owners, architects, and inspectors. Communicate daily with the office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule, utilizing software for expense approvals and site management. This role requires 5 years of healthcare construction experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel consistently. The position is full-time, first shift, and reports to the Field Operations Director.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to Travel
- Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs
- Must be able to climb and work from heights
- Individual must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
- Will be required to work around wood dust and fumes
- Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, customers, and architects
- Strong managerial skills
- Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry
- Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of healthcare construction experience as a superintendent is strongly desired
