Job Summary
The Construction Superintendent manages all aspects of jobsite operations including staffing, scheduling, and subcontractor relations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Essential functions involve overseeing daily construction site operations, maintaining project safety and quality, coordinating material deliveries, tracking job progress using Procore, and supervising workers. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, significant practical leadership experience in commercial construction, and current OSHA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
- At least five (5) years practical leadership experience in commercial construction
- Current OSHA 30-hour or 10-hour OSHA certification
- Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Ability to understand and interpret safety laws and company policies/standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Procore
- Preferred experience with NUCOR Buildings
