Commercial Construction Service Account Manager

Job Summary
Manage financials for construction projects, identify risks, and plan resources to minimize slippage while overseeing technician gainshare payouts. Schedule weekly activities, coordinate job scheduling and site compliance, and ensure project timelines meet customer goals. Review work orders to identify trends, approve submittals, and prepare status reports and as-built drawings. Assist with design/build activities, expedite change orders, and ensure timely completion of punch lists and permit filings. Conduct site visits to provide estimates, navigate various environments, and assist personnel with on-site problems. Work 40 hours weekly with overtime and night shifts as required, wearing personal protective equipment at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with additional 2 years technical training
- Construction Management degree
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Senior technician role
- prior field experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and the NEC
- Electrical Estimating background
- Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and work under pressure
- Ability to manage and schedule multiple service technicians and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in Fort Myers, FL
- Must be able to generate new business in the area within 60 days of hire
- Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns)
- Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times), respirator when required
- Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts
- Must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position
- Candidates must be able to conduct site visits to provide estimates, navigating a variety of conditions and environments
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of background investigation and drug screening
- Drug-free work environment according to Federal Law
