Job Summary
On-site Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent leading safety, quality, and workflow on advanced manufacturing projects. Direct the on-site team, serve as liaison among project team members, coordinate with the project manager to follow installation methods and schedule, manage subcontractors, maintain daily documentation, and drive punch list and closeout processes in alignment with HITT safety and quality standards. Requires experience in commercial construction (including tenant renovations and fast-paced projects), ability to organize resources, proficiency with industry software (e.g., ProCore, BlueBeam, Adobe) and MS Office, and strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
- Mastery of building processes and best practices
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
- Project lead experience preferred
- Previous experience in a superintendent or project lead experience preferred
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborate with people of various backgrounds and styles
- Create and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
