Job Summary
Lead site safety planning and execution across commercial construction projects, conducting routine and unannounced inspections, coaching field teams on safe practices (especially at heights), delivering training (OSHA 10/30, CPR, Fall Protection, Forklift, PPE), investigating incidents with root cause analysis, ensuring OSHA compliance and internal safety protocols, maintaining accurate safety documentation (Salesforce or similar), and collaborating with project managers and leadership to translate safety strategy into practical, on-the-ground practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in a Safety Coordinator or Manager role in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and California state standards
- Experience working with crews performing high-risk tasks (i.e. working at heights)
