Job Summary
Establish overall project logistics, develop pre-construction RFP packages, and manage project schedules while conducting coordination meetings. Complete job processes including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications, ensuring proper document control and timely material delivery. Issue subcontractor contracts, approve pay applications, and manage the closeout process while negotiating change orders and managing the project budget. Lead project buy-outs, enforce quality control standards, and complete monthly cost reporting and exposure analysis. This Florida-based role covers projects in Melbourne and St. Petersburg for a firm with strong growth in healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of proven Project Manager experience in commercial construction
- Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Engineering
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and subcontractor teams
- Comfortable working across multiple project sites
