Job Summary
Project Manager leads all facets of a commercial construction project to complete on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include budgeting, pre-construction planning, RFIs/submittals/pay applications/ change orders, scheduling, quality control, and overall logistics. Acts as primary liaison among clients, project team, subcontractors, and vendors; supervises assistant PMs and operations staff; drives milestones, owner reports, and process improvements. Requires leadership, clear communication, and proficiency with ProCore, JD Edwards, BlueBeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office; adept at reading construction drawings and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred
- In lieu of a degree, additional work experience acceptable
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction
- Experience with a commercial general contractor
- ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards, Microsoft Office proficiency
- Mastery of reading construction drawings
- Ability to organize resources to meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership, communication, and professional presentation abilities
- Commitment to safety and company standards
- Client relationship management and collaboration with subcontractors and vendors
