Job Summary
Manage assigned commercial construction projects from kickoff through final completion, coordinating schedules, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure successful execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, architects, and vendors while reviewing drawings, RFIs, and submittals to meet project requirements. Track costs, budgets, and change orders, communicate with field personnel, and resolve issues quickly to maintain strong relationships. Travel to project sites as needed to monitor progress, support operations, and ensure timely communication throughout all phases.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction
- Experience managing projects involving commercial glazing or related specialty construction trades such as drywall, millwork, storefront systems, doors and hardware, exterior building envelope, or architectural products
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is welcomed; equivalent commercial construction project management experience is equally valued
- Ability to travel to active commercial construction job sites
- Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders, and navigate varying terrain
- Ability to work outdoors during site visits in varying weather conditions
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
