Job Summary
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, developing schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts. Oversee contracts, subcontractor scopes, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation while partnering with Superintendents and internal teams to ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery. Monitor costs, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively through strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Participate in scope reviews and project planning activities. This role supports a well-established general contractor with a growing portfolio of ground-up and renovation projects across the DFW area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction Project Management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from cradle to grave
- Experience with ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost control, contracts, and scheduling
- Proficiency with Procore
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- PMP certification
- Experience with K-12 Education projects
- Experience with Municipal/Government projects
- Experience with Commercial Office projects
- Experience with Churches projects
- Experience with Public Facilities projects
- Experience with similar commercial construction projects
