Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine layout and material requirements. Troubleshoot plumbing issues, cut and thread pipe to specifications, and assemble valves and fittings. Test systems for leaks and proper functionality while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with tradespeople and project managers, maintain clean work areas, and complete necessary paperwork. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Valid journeyman plumber license, blueprint reading skills, and physical stamina required. Located in the Southeastern United States.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber, with a strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and codes
- Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification (where required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately
- Proficient in the use of various plumbing tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform duties in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program
