Job Summary
Establish customer relationships and educate clients on the construction process while analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Create accurate sketches and initial scopes of work using state-of-the-art technology, then assemble well-organized estimates that meet client needs. Collaborate with the Project Manager to price bid items and obtain subcontractor quotes, recognizing project constraints or needed upgrades. Document finalized project scopes and follow up with customers to secure approval before delivering approved estimates to the Construction Team. All leads are provided with no cold-calling required. This role supports SERVPRO's reconstruction team in a fast-paced, recession-proof environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
- Must have a good driving record
- Walking and/or standing throughout the day
- Frequent driving
- Occasionally climbing ladders
- Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat
- Noise level in the work environment and jobsites can be loud
