Job Summary
Commercial Construction Estimator for Healthcare projects leveraging AI estimating tools to deliver accurate, timely cost estimates across conceptual to GMP/bid phases. Responsibilities include analyzing healthcare-specific requirements (AHCA, FGI Guidelines, ICRA), accounting for phasing and infection-control measures in occupied environments, soliciting and evaluating bids from healthcare-experienced subs, coordinating with design teams and preconstruction, maintaining cost databases and AI-assisted models, and supporting proposals, budgets, and client presentations while tracking estimate performance for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, with a strong focus on healthcare projects
- Hands-on experience with AI estimating tools, automated takeoff platforms, or data-driven estimating systems
- Strong proficiency in Excel and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, or similar)
- In-depth understanding of healthcare construction standards, codes, and compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents with a high level of accuracy
