Job Summary
Assist Superintendent on commercial construction projects (Mission Critical) by supporting scheduling, coordinating field staff and subcontractors, maintaining daily site logs, managing punch lists and closeout, enforcing safety programs, and helping to meet budget, quality, time, and safety objectives. Role requires collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors; proficiency with ProCore, BlueBeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; experience with tenant renovations and work in occupied spaces; and a professional approach to safety and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Two to five years of experience in commercial construction
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred
- Experience with commercial general contractor environments; tenant renovations and work in occupied spaces a plus
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize and manage tasks and priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project-management software (e.g., ProCore, BlueBeam, Adobe)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to maintain daily documentation and manage punch lists/closeout processes
- Commitment to safety, quality, time, and budget objectives
- Ability to collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and vendors
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to project challenges
- Experience with field coordination and scheduling activities
- Familiarity with safety programs and incident investigations
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Experience with field inspections and ensuring adherence to plans and specs
- Knowledge of project documentation controls and reporting
