Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary
Manage project workflow and schedule commitments by formulating timelines with the project manager and ensuring proper installation sequences. Administer the safety program across all subcontractors, investigate accidents, and coordinate with outside inspection agencies. Maintain daily logs, punch lists, and closeout processes while developing relationships with community stakeholders and subcontractors. Ensure complete documentation of work orders and identify problems early to provide immediate solutions. Develop the site team, arrange temporary utilities, and expedite long lead items. Requires 2-5 years of commercial construction experience, OSHA 30 certification preferred, and ability to walk, stand, and lift 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong focus on audience appropriate business writing and verbal skills

Desired Qualifications
- Four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business
- 2-5 years' experience in commercial construction
- Experience with a commercial general contractor
- Tenant renovations
- Service work
- Work in occupied spaces
- Weekend work
- Fast paced project experience
- Project lead experience
- Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam
- OSHA 30 Certification
