Job Summary
Assist in coordinating construction projects in NYC by evaluating, coordinating, and distributing information to ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Responsible for budget management, pre-construction RFPs, RFIs, submittals, pay applications and change orders, updating schedules, ensuring quality control, and supporting closeout. Collaborates with the project superintendent and site operations, communicates with stakeholders, and contributes to process improvements. Requires strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with software tools (e.g., ProCore, JD Edwards, BlueBeam, Adobe, Microsoft Office). Must uphold safety standards and align with NYCHRL. Salary range: $84,700.00 - $121,000.00 for NYC location, with compensation variations by city/state.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in construction, engineering, or business
- 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction
- Experience with a commercial general contractor
- ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards proficiency
- Must demonstrate clear, concise, professional communication
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage tasks and priorities
- Ability to gather data, interpret it, and relay information effectively
- Team collaboration and relationship-building with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Commitment to safety and NYCHRL compliance
