Assistant Project Manager for Commercial Construction at HITT Contracting focused on Advanced Manufacturing projects. Partners with the project superintendent and site operations team to update schedules, ensure quality control, and manage closeout. Requires strong communication, data gathering and interpretation, and the ability to relate pieces of a project to the overall business model. Proficiency in project software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards) and a commitment to continuous improvement. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred
- In lieu of a degree, additional work experience acceptable
- 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
- Previous experience on commercial job sites strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with a focus on audience-appropriate business writing and verbal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards
