Job Summary
Supervise all concrete construction processes on-site, ensuring quality work, schedule adherence, and budget compliance for manpower and materials. Coordinate weekly with Operations Managers and Project Management for global resource scheduling, while organizing field labor and maintaining work harmony with subcontractors. Track daily project progress, report manpower time, and monitor productivity to identify and resolve potential delays. Maintain positive relationships with management, owners, and trades, implementing the company's safety culture and communicating effectively with field crews. Requires 10+ years of commercial concrete experience, including tilt-up, and fluency in Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- 10 or more years experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction, on projects of 2+ million
- Previous experience as a Concrete Superintendent
- adequate level of Spanish speaking skills
- Very strong work ethic with the willingness to travel and/or relocate
- Regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and risk to electrical shock
- Noise level is usually moderate to very loud
