Job Summary
Coordinate concrete construction schedules with Operations Managers and Project Management to ensure timely sequencing and resource allocation. Supervise all concrete operations on-site, overseeing labor, subcontractors, and quality control while maintaining strict adherence to budget and safety standards. Track daily progress, manpower hours, and productivity metrics to identify delays and implement solutions. Manage field teams across footings, walls, flatwork, tilt-up, and paving while communicating effectively with general contractors and owners. Requires 10+ years of commercial concrete experience, Spanish fluency, and ability to work in hazardous conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 10 or more years experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction, on projects of 2+ million
- Previous experience as a Concrete Superintendent
- Adequate level of Spanish speaking skills
- Very strong work ethic with the willingness to travel and/or relocate
- Regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and risk to electrical shock
- Noise level is usually moderate to very loud
