Commercial Concrete Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead project setup, buyout, and contract execution while managing material procurement, equipment invoices, and manpower timesheets. Oversee daily progress tracking, sequencing, and scheduling alongside weekly cost reporting and job forecasting. Coordinate with GCs, owners, and operations managers to secure resources, issue and track change orders, and develop estimate pricing. Ensure project safety compliance and fiscal responsibility while mentoring project engineers. Walk the job site, climb scaffolding, and resolve conflicts to drive consensus and maximize profits. Requires 3+ years of construction management experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong critical path scheduling skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
