Commercial Concrete Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead commercial concrete projects by managing project setup, buyouts, and contract execution while overseeing material procurement, safety compliance, and invoice approvals. Drive daily progress tracking, schedule maintenance, and cost reporting through weekly forecasts and job cost spreads. Coordinate with GCs and operations managers to secure manpower, issue change orders, and develop accurate pricing estimates. Mentor project engineers and define roles across multiple projects while proactively adjusting budgets to maximize profits. Requires 3+ years of experience, a construction management or engineering degree, and the ability to walk job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
