Job Summary
Oversee project setup, buyout, and contract execution while managing material procurement, equipment invoices, and manpower timesheets. Lead daily progress tracking, sequencing, and scheduling alongside weekly cost reporting and job forecasting. Coordinate with GCs, owners, and operations managers to secure resources and distribute change orders, while developing basic pricing estimates. Ensure strict safety compliance and fiscal responsibility by proactively adjusting budgets and resolving conflicts. Mentor project engineers and drive continuous improvements in work methods and quality levels.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
