Job Summary
Lead project setup, buyout, contract execution, and compliance while managing material and equipment procurement, invoice coding, and manpower timesheet approvals. Track daily progress, sequence and update schedules, and coordinate with the GC and Operations manager to secure resources and distribute change orders. Review job cost spreads, issue change order requests, and develop pricing estimates to maintain fiscal responsibility and project profitability. Monitor quality levels, resolve conflicts, and mentor Project Engineers while walking the job site to ensure safety and adherence to critical path scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on my own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
