Job Summary
Lead project setup, buyout, and contract execution while managing material procurement, equipment invoices, and manpower timesheets. Oversee daily progress tracking, sequencing, and scheduling updates, then coordinate with the GC and Operations manager to secure resources and distribute change orders. Review job cost spreads, issue change order requests with pricing, and generate weekly cost reports for fiscal responsibility. Mentor Project Engineers and resolve conflicts to maintain quality and efficiency. Requires 3+ years of experience, a Construction Management or Engineering degree, and the ability to walk the job site.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on my own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
