Commercial Concrete Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead project setup, buyout, contract execution, and compliance while managing material procurement, equipment invoices, and manpower timesheet approvals. Track daily progress, sequence and maintain schedules, and coordinate with GCs, owners, and operations managers to secure resources. Issue and track change orders, develop pricing estimates, and generate weekly cost reports and job forecasts. Approve invoices, review job cost spreads, and mentor project engineers. Walk the job site, climb scaffolding, and proactively adjust budgets to maximize profits. Requires 3+ years of construction experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong critical path scheduling knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
Desired Qualifications
