Job Summary
Supervise, mentor, and coach craft personnel while directing assigned crews to meet daily schedules. Perform on-site coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment, adjusting daily work to align with production timelines and budgeted costs. Interpret plans and specifications to check work accordingly, request necessary materials, and maintain high safety adherence for all craft personnel and subcontractors. This role requires standing, stooping, and bending for up to ten hours daily, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least five years previous experience and/or training in the concrete industry
- Advanced knowledge of concrete paving, tools and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of layout for footings
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry forms
- Must work safe at all times
- Exposure to the elements heat, cold, rain, wind
