Job Summary
Supervise and mentor craft personnel while directing assigned crews to meet daily production schedules. Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment on-site, adjusting work as needed to align with project goals and budgeted costs. Interpret plans and specifications to ensure all work adheres to required standards while maintaining strict safety compliance for staff and subcontractors. Manage material requests and oversee equipment selection to optimize efficiency. Requires five years of concrete industry experience and the ability to stand or lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least five years previous experience and/or training in the concrete industry
- Advanced knowledge of concrete paving, tools and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of layout for footings
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry forms
- Must work safe at all times
- Exposure to the elements heat, cold, rain, wind
