Job Summary
Supervise and mentor craft personnel while directing assigned crews to meet daily schedules and production goals. Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment on-site, adjusting work plans to align with budgeted costs and project timelines. Interpret plans and specifications to ensure all work adheres to required standards, while maintaining strict safety compliance for both staff and subcontractors. Manage material requests and oversee equipment selection to optimize efficiency. This role requires standing for extended periods and working in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least five years previous experience and/or training in the concrete industry
- Advanced knowledge of concrete paving, tools and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of layout for footings
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry forms
- Must work safe at all times
- Exposure to the elements heat, cold, rain, wind
