Job Summary
Supervise, mentor, and coach craft personnel while directing assigned crew to meet daily schedules. Perform on-site coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment, adjusting work as needed to align with production goals and budgeted costs. Read and interpret plans and specifications to check work accordingly, requesting materials for the scope of work. Maintain high safety standards for craft personnel and subcontractors. Requires five years of concrete industry experience, ability to stand for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least five years previous experience and/or training in the concrete industry
- Advanced knowledge of concrete paving, tools and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of layout for footings
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry forms
- Must work safe at all times
- Exposure to the elements heat, cold, rain, wind
