Job Summary
Prepare accurate, competitive estimates by performing quantity takeoffs, developing project budgets, and pricing commercial concrete projects from plans and specifications. Manage the bidding process from start to finish, including coordinating bid documents, tracking proposals in JobTread, and following up with customers after submission. Build strong relationships with customers, general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors while identifying new opportunities and collaborating with project managers to develop winning project strategies. Evaluate project profitability, monitor estimating trends, and continuously improve estimating practices to support the company's long-term success.
Required Qualifications
- Previous commercial construction estimating experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Valid driver's license
