Job Summary
Erect and set wood or metal forms for concrete structures, foundations, and site work per specifications and drawings. Build and assemble symon forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, and parking garages. Verify structural accuracy using plumb bobs, levels, lasers, and digital transits. Erect scaffolding and ladders for structures above ground level. Communicate with foremen, riding bosses, or project managers regarding problems, materials, or safety hazards. Ensure equipment remains in safe working condition and assist with concrete placement as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand drawings and prints
- Experience in construction or contracting industry
