Job Summary
Erect and set wood or metal forms for concrete structures, foundations, and site work per specifications and drawings. Build symon forms, tilt-wall forms, and structural columns while verifying accuracy with plumb bobs, levels, and laser transits. Assemble scaffolding for elevated structures and assist in installing reinforcing steel. Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding problems, materials, or safety hazards. Ensure equipment is in safe working condition and may signal concrete deliverers to position trucks. Observe and comply with all safety policies while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand drawings and prints
- Experience in construction or contracting industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
