Job Summary
Use advanced contact strategies to locate and engage responsible parties within commercial organizations, understanding each business's financial situation to recommend appropriate payment solutions. Negotiate payment terms with professionalism to resolve outstanding balances while handling both inbound and outbound calls to address open accounts. Respond effectively to objections and challenges during collection calls, adhering strictly to required scripts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with commercial collection regulations. Meet monthly recovery goals and complete other assigned duties while attending team meetings and training sessions to stay current on systems and industry updates. Maintain adherence to attendance and scheduling requirements as part of your full-time or part-time role in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to multi-task, self-manage, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Must be customer service-oriented: professional, responsive, patient, and conscientious
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have typing speed of 20+ WPM
- Must have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must have familiarity with Windows OS
- Must have strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Must be team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial collections, B2B customer service, or contact center roles preferred
